It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Dr Jiaqi Ge (University of Leeds, United Kingdom) in December 2025.
Jiaqi was appointed to our editorial board several years ago and made significant contributions to our journal by publishing important articles. Examples include her first article in 2015 on commuting patterns and CO₂ emissions in Aberdeen, co-authored with Gary Polhill, and a more recent study on parameter calibration using uncertainty quantification methods. She also provided constructive and fair reports on many submissions, demonstrating her dedication and commitment to serving our community.
We will all miss her, as will our journal.
